Site Manager – 400kV Substation Location: Yorkshire Rate: DOE Start Date: Immediate Contract: Long-term Civils Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major civils project involving the construction of a 400kV substation in Yorkshire. This is a long-term opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in civil engineering, groundworks and/or energy infrastructure, ideally with previous substation or high-voltage project experience. The Role: * Managing day-to-day site operations across a major 400kV substation project * Supervising subcontractors and site teams * Managing civils, groundworks, concrete and associated infrastructure works * Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification * Coordinating with the wider project team and electrical/HV contractors * Reviewing RAMS, permits and site documentation * Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety * Reporting into the Project/Construction Manager Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure * Experience working on substations, energy infrastructure or major civils projects is highly desirable * Strong understanding of site health & safety and construction processes * Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts * CSCS * SMSTS * First Aid * National Grid experience / NG Persons / TP137 or SR163 would be advantageous The Package: * Immediate start * Long-term contract * 400kV substation project * Yorkshire location * Competitive rate DOE If you are an experienced Site Manager with civils and/or substation experience and are available immediately, please apply with your CV or contact us directly for more information
