Imperium Financial Recruitment is working with a well-established firm of solicitors in Bolton seeking a motivated Housing Disrepair Fee Earner.

The opportunity

You will manage an allocated portfolio of Housing Disrepair claims, bringing structure, momentum and sound judgement to each matter.

Working from the firm’s Bolton office, you will be involved in the practical and technical work that turns an initial enquiry into a properly evidenced, well-managed claim.

What you will be doing

• Reviewing new instructions and identifying the strengths, risks and evidence requirements of each case.
• Building clear case plans and keeping matters moving against key dates.
• Obtaining and analysing supporting documents and expert evidence.
• Drafting correspondence, letters of claim and legal documents.
• Managing communication with clients and other parties.
• Considering responses, evaluating settlement proposals and conducting negotiations.
• Preparing matters for litigation and assisting with or managing proceedings, depending on experience.
• Keeping clients updated with clear advice on progress and next steps.
• Maintaining compliant files and contributing to the team’s agreed objectives.

Who would suit the role?
