Transaction Manager/Business Manager

Location: Newbury, Berkshire

Basic Salary: £26,775

OTE: Up to £56,000 per annum (total earnings, including basic salary)

Working Pattern: 5-day working week, including 1 in 2 Sundays

The Opportunity

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an Automotive Business Manager / Transaction Manager for a dealership in Newbury.

We're looking for someone who understands automotive showroom sales and is ready to take responsibility for both the performance of the sales team and the profitability of finance and insurance transactions.

Ideally, you'll already be working as a Business Manager or Transaction Manager. However, we'd also be interested in speaking with a strong Senior Sales Executive who's ready to take the next step into management.

The Role

You'll take an active role in managing the showroom sales team while overseeing Finance & Insurance (F&I) performance and profitability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing, supporting and developing the Sales Executives.
• Overseeing the structure and profitability of vehicle finance transactions.
• Supporting the sales team in negotiating and completing customer deals.
• Monitoring F&I performance and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Ensuring finance and insurance products are presented appropriately and in accordance with FCA requirements.
• Working closely with the sales team to maintain strong sales performance and deliver a professional customer experience

What We're Looking For

You'll need:

• Previous automotive showroom sales experience.
• A strong understanding of vehicle sales, finance products and the sales process.
• FCA accreditation, or a willingness to complete the required accreditation.
• The ability to manage and support Sales Executives.
• A good commercial understanding of vehicle transactions and profitability.
• Previous Business Manager or Transaction Manager experience is preferred, but not essential.

We would also consider an experienced Senior Sales Executive who can demonstrate the commercial understanding, sales experience and potential required to progress into a management position.
