Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Up to £52,000 per annum (including shift allowance)

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping production running at its best?

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Thatcham. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving a range of automated production equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Shift Pattern

Rotating 3-shift pattern:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 10:00am - 6:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and performance.
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent

Experience within a manufacturing or production environment

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery

A proactive approach and a passion for continuous improvement
