Legal Cashier – Blackburn – Competitive Salary + Bonus

Venn Group's specialist finance recruitment team is recruiting a Legal Cashier for a accredited law firm in Blackburn. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to join a respected legal practice with an established client base and supportive working environment.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining client and office ledgers
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Processing financial transactions
• Raising client invoices and monitoring outstanding payments
• Producing financial reports
• Submitting VAT returns
• Supporting compliance and audit requirements

About you

• Previous legal cashiering experience
• Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and SRA Regulations
• Experience maintaining client and office accounts
• Proficiency with Xero or similar accounting software
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
• Previous conveyancing knowledge would be advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
