Maintenance Engineer Leeds Area £51,000 Permanent Days Shift - Panama Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for an Multi Skilled engineer to join there team. As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on production equipment * Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production * Repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical elements of the plant * Fault-find and resolve recurring machinery issues * Support the development and improvement of planned maintenance systems * Ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard * Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues Ideal Candidate: * Apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent * Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background * Experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment * Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and drives preferred but not essential * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards Multi Skilled Engineer / Multiskilled mechanical Engineer / Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Team Leader / shift engineer Leeds / Bradford / Halifax / Huddersfield / Wakefield / Pontefract / York / Barnsley / Garforth
