Workshop Manager - Hydraulic, Mechanical & Fabrication

Location: Aberdeenshire
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE + Performance Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00am - 4:30pm)

An established and growing engineering business is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead its busy hydraulic, mechanical and fabrication workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on engineering knowledge and previous workshop supervisory or management experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and workflow
• Lead, mentor and develop a skilled technical team
• Manage hydraulic, mechanical and fabrication projects from start to finish
• Coordinate maintenance, repair and production schedules
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and quality
• Drive workshop efficiency and continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot complex engineering issues and support technical delivery
• Manage workshop equipment, tooling and inventory

About You

• Previous workshop supervisory, team leader or management experience
• Background in hydraulic, mechanical, fabrication or heavy engineering environments
• Strong organisational and people management skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
• Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence
