Consult KA have partnered with a successful services based business who have an incredible UK customer base. This is a hands-on, short-term opportunity suited to someone with relevant purchase ledger experience who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to daily deadlines.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will provide support to the Finance Manager and help keep the purchase ledger processes running smoothly during a period of change.

You will be working as part of a small and relaxed office team for a period of 4-6 weeks. The ideal person must have the ability to pick up the Purchase Ledger quickly, managing processes, work accurately and provide reliable support.

What we need from you?

A detailed orientated person who can support the business in ensuring that invoices and payments are properly approved, someone who has the ability to liaise confidently with various department and keep track of what is owed to vendors.

What you need to succeed?

An individual who can…

• Work in a fast-paced environment and be confident managing complex invoices
• Take full responsibility for the maintenance and administration of the purchase ledger including matching, batching, and coding of invoices, supplier statement reconciliations, query resolution,liaising with various internal and external colleagues
• Create supplier payment runs on the SAGE system.
• Ability to foster positive working relationships with both internal departments and external customers.
• Daily csv production for uploading into SAGE.
• Be confident using SAGE however not essential

Location – Newcastle under Lyme

Contract – Temporary 4-6 weeks

Rate - £14 per hour (£28k permanent salary equivalent)
