We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support to students. * Support students with SEND and additional learning needs. * Adapt learning activities to meet individual student needs. * Assist with literacy, numeracy and study skills. * Deliver targeted interventions and monitor student progress. * Promote positive behaviour, confidence, independence and engagement. * Work closely with teachers, the SENDCo and wider SEND team. * Maintain accurate student records and uphold safeguarding procedures. Key Skills & Requirements: * Experience supporting young people in an educational setting (desirable). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach. * Ability to build positive relationships with students. * Understanding of inclusion, equality and diversity. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong safeguarding awareness and professionalism. Important Notes: * Work under the direction of the SENDCo and teaching staff. * Support students' academic, social and emotional development. * Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
