Location: Caerphilly   Pay Rate: £13.50 - £16.87 per hour Shifts: 5 days per week 1:30pm - 10:00pm We are currently recruiting a DAF Plant Operator to join a busy production environment. Key Accountabilities Maintain, operate and monitor the treatment facility Complete daily site meter readings Create preventative maintenance schedules Inspect and perform daily checks on plant performance to ensure effective operations and maintain records, including start-up, shut down and daily monitoring Ensure chemicals are stored safely in line with environmental policy Complete planned maintenance activities in the water plant during weekend quieter periods Liaise with site engineering as required during breakdowns and troubleshooting. Work in conformance to HSE regulations. Any other duties as required by management within the competency of the post holder. Knowledge & Skills Good communication skills. Proactive in approach and problem solving. Commitment to good practice and quality service. Ability to work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines. Basic IT skills.
