Remuneration: £60,000 - £65,000neg

The role of the Quantity Surveyor - Brickwork will involve:

• Quantity Surveyor position managing costs related to various brickwork projects for main-contractors
• Price the cost of materials needed for the project
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, BOQs and other relevant documentation
• Track changes to the works and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Measure and value the work done on site
• Liaise with the client and other internal/external stake holders, such as Site managers & Project Manager
• Working on projects varying in value up to £2.5m

The ideal applicant will be an Quantity Surveyor - Brickwork industry with:

• Must have Quantity Surveying experience
• Ideally will have Surveying degree or equivalent, however experience outweighs qualifications
• Ability to produce take-offs as required
• Knowledge of construction procurement, specifications and sub-contractor management
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communicator across all levels both written and verbally
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
