I'm recruiting on behalf of an established automotive business in Bury for a capable, hands-on Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team. This isn't your typical servicing role. The business has a dedicated mobile servicing operation, meaning the workshop concentrates on vehicles requiring more involved mechanical repairs, diagnostics and ramp-based work. What's on offer? £40,000–£45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience Additional performance-related bonus Monday to Friday working No weekend working Workshop-based position Varied mechanical and diagnostic repairs What we're looking for Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills Confidence diagnosing and repairing more complex faults Experience working on engines, transmissions, steering and suspension Relevant automotive qualifications or equivalent practical experience The ability to work independently and take pride in getting repairs right You don't necessarily need to be a Master Technician.
