Telemarketing Executive (FMCG)

Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 DOE + Monthly Commission

About the Opportunity:

Our client is a well-established and growing B2B organisation with a strong customer base across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a motivated Telemarketing Executive to join their Glasgow-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business opportunities, and working in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and develop a database of prospective customers through outbound calls, E-Mail campaigns, and market research.
• Handle inbound enquiries and identify customer requirements.
• Generate qualified sales opportunities and arrange appointments for the wider sales team.
• Conduct follow-up activity and maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
• Respond to customer enquiries regarding products, services, pricing, and availability.
• Support the development of new business opportunities and contribute ideas to increase lead generation activity.
• Produce regular reports on sales and business development activity.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers.
• Work towards agreed sales targets and activity KPIs.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, lead generation, internal sales, or business development.
• Experience of working with export customers / markets
• Experience of food service / hospitality / coffee / drinks industry
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work towards and exceed sales targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident, self-motivated, and resilient approach.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable working within a busy and target-driven environment.
