Working pattern: Flexible daily and short-term supply.Your Role as a Supply Teacher As a Supply Teacher, you will help pupils stay focused on learning while their usual teacher is away, adapting quickly to the school's approach. Deliver planned lessons across your agreed primary year groups and use suitable learning resources. Establish expectations early and respond consistently to pupils' behaviour and additional needs. Work with support staff to keep lessons accessible and encourage participation. Assess understanding during lessons and share a concise account of the day with school staff.What We Are Looking For in a Supply Teacher QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, alongside primary teaching experience. A proactive Supply Teacher with clear communication and effective classroom management. The ability to follow school procedures and adjust teaching to pupils' different starting points.
