Account Manager

London (Hybrid)

£50,000 - £60,000

We’re looking for an Account Manager, to take ownership of a portfolio of managed service clients, building trusted relationships, understanding their business priorities and helping them get more value from their IT. This is a brand-new exciting role, created to help our client be more proactive with their clients. You will take the lead in understanding what matters to each client, identifying opportunities to improve their IT. You will have the flexibility of this role being hybrid and spend time visiting clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a portfolio of clients, becoming a trusted partner to key stakeholders and decision makers
• Lead quarterly business reviews
• Visit client sites regularly to understand how they work and where technology could help them
• Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to ensure clients receive consistent and high quality experience
• Take ownership of contract renewals, managing timelines, preparing proposals and ensuring opportunities are identified early
• Proactively upsell and cross-sell opportunities, which genuinely benefit clients
• Coordinate client projects and work with internal teams
• When needed, get hands-on to support the team and ensure the best possible outcome is delivered for clients

Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience in a similar role or a client-facing commercial role, ideally within IT services, MSP or a technology business
• Experienced at identifying, closing upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities
• Confident at building relationships with senior stakeholders and presenting to them
• Confidence to discuss Apple devices, Google workspace, Microsoft 365, cloud services and cyber security in plain English
• Exceptional organisational and coordination skills
• Experienced at preparing quotations, proposals and client renew presentations
• Solid experience using CRM. PSA or ITSM tools
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
• Skilled at using AI tools in every day life
• Ideally have experience with software licensing and reselling
