Our rapidly growing Client are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join their team in Bedford. If you are passionate about creating opportunities and hitting targets then this could be the role for you. This position is fully office based.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:

• Proactively identifying and targeting potential new customers
• Generating new business through outbound calls, networking, referrals and other prospecting activity
• Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline
• Understanding prospective customers' requirements and recommending suitable packaging solutions
• Preparing quotations and commercial proposals
• Negotiating pricing and commercial terms
• Developing relationships with key decision-makers

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and comfortable creating their own opportunities.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience within B2B sales, business development or new business
• A proven track record of winning and developing new customers
• Confidence with outbound prospecting and speaking with senior decision-makers
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
