Business Development Manager - Marketing & Hospitality
Salary: Up to £60,000 Basic | £90,000 OTE (Uncapped)
Hybrid Working - 3 Days from Home | Progression to Head of Sales / General Manager
Are you a successful Business Development Manager who feels ready for something bigger?
Perhaps you're already doing well in a marketing agency or selling services into the hospitality sector. You're winning business, building relationships and delivering results.
But there's a problem.
The next step in your career isn't particularly clear. You're ambitious, commercially minded and capable of much more, but the opportunity to influence decisions, shape strategy or progress into senior leadership simply isn't there.
If that sounds familiar, this could be exactly the opportunity you've been waiting for.
We're recruiting on behalf of an ambitious, independent marketing and communications business with an impressive client portfolio, including major brands within the hospitality sector.
This is an opportunity to join a growing company where you'll work directly alongside an entrepreneurial founder, enjoy genuine autonomy and play an influential role in shaping the future of the business.
Importantly, there's a clear ambition for the successful individual to progress into Head of Sales and potentially General Manager, with the opportunity to build and lead a sales team as the company grows.
The Opportunity
This is a commercially focused role combining proactive business development with account management and the development of existing client relationships.
You'll have the opportunity to:
You'll have the freedom to make decisions, develop your own approach and genuinely influence the success of the business.
This isn't a role where you'll be just another salesperson chasing a monthly target.
It's an opportunity to help build something.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're particularly interested in speaking with experienced Business Development Managers, Senior Business Development Managers or commercially focused Account Directors who have a strong track record of winning new business.
You must have experience in at least one of the following:
Experience across both would be particularly attractive.
You'll be confident developing relationships with senior decision-makers, comfortable managing the complete sales cycle and motivated by the challenge of winning new clients.
Just as importantly, you'll be someone who wants more responsibility, more influence and the opportunity to develop into a senior commercial leader.
We're looking for someone entrepreneurial, ambitious and commercially astute. Someone who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions and seeing the direct results of their efforts.
What's on Offer?
Ready for the Next Step?
You might be perfectly happy with your current employer. You might even be earning good money.
But if you're beginning to wonder whether there's a bigger opportunity out there - somewhere you can have more influence, take greater responsibility and genuinely progress your career - we'd welcome a conversation.
