Position: Primary Cover Supervisor Contract/Position Start Date: ASAP Duration: Daily and Long-Term Contract Type: Temporary Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP95-GBP135 Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Ensure pupils remain engaged, motivated, and on task throughout lessons Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil progress, engagement, and behaviour Build positive relationships with pupils and staff Support the wider school community when required Experience, Training and Qualifications Previous experience working within a Primary School setting is desirable Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Learning Mentor, Sports Coach, or Youth Worker is highly desirable Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential A passion for supporting young learners and helping them achieve their potential Up-to-date Safeguarding training is required.
