An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Interim Senior Legal Counsel to join the legal team of an innovative clean-energy technology business based in Lincolnshire, working on a fully remote basis.

This is a broad commercial role, offering an experienced lawyer responsibility for commercial contracts alongside varied general in-house legal matters. Relevant sector experience would be advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for experienced in-house lawyers to support the business on an interim basis for an initial period of 6 weeks, with possible extension,

The Interim Senior Legal Counsel will be:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad variety of commercial contracts.
• Providing pragmatic commercial legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting the organisation with wider day-to-day in-house legal matters.
• Identifying legal and contractual risk and providing commercially focused solutions.
• Working autonomously to support the business during a busy interim period.

Profile

The Interim Senior Legal Counsel should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years' PQE and strong commercial contracts experience.
• Experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements.
• Ideally experienced within renewable energy, clean technology, energy or a related sector.
• Comfortable working autonomously within an in-house environment.
• Commercial, pragmatic and confident advising stakeholders across a business.
