CNC Turner | Fanuc | Conversational Programming | Chesterfield Elevation Recruitment Group is working on behalf of an established subcontract engineering business in Chesterfield to recruit an experienced CNC Turner.
Are you a skilled CNC Turner with hands-on experience using Fanuc controls and conversational programming?
Looking for a days-only role where you can put your machining skills to good use, work on varied subcontract projects, and earn up to £20 per hour?
Our client manufactures precision components for a variety of industries, offering an interesting and varied workload rather than repetitive, single-product machining.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who can confidently set, programme, and operate CNC turning machines.
The Role – CNC Turner Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating CNC turning machines.
- Programming and operating machinery using Fanuc controls.
- Using conversational programming to manufacture components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Selecting tooling and setting machines to achieve accurate results.
- Machining a variety of components for different subcontract customers.
- Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and working to engineering tolerances.
What We're Looking For To be considered for this CNC Turner position, you must have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls.
- Experience with conversational programming.
- The ability to set and operate CNC turning machines.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of precision machining and engineering tolerances.
- The confidence to work independently and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
