Production Operative - Full Training Provided

Brackley | £26,000 - £30,000 DOE + Overtime | Permanent | Full-time

We're recruiting for an established and growing production business in Brackley, looking for Production Operatives to join a busy and friendly team.

Whether you already have experience in manufacturing, production or machine operation, or you're looking for an opportunity to learn something completely new, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be trained to operate specialist semi-automated machinery used in textile production and finishing. No experience with this particular equipment is required, as full training will be provided.

What matters most is your attitude, reliability, attention to detail and willingness to get stuck in!

What you'll be doing

• Learning to operate semi-automated textile finishing and stitching machines
• Reading and following job sheets and production instructions
• Handling and guiding fabrics through the finishing process
• Trimming and finishing materials
• Quality checking completed work
• Folding and packing finished products
• Working accurately and efficiently to production deadlines
• Working as part of a busy and supportive production team

What we're looking for

Previous experience within production, manufacturing, textiles, fabrics, print finishing or machine operation would be useful, but it's certainly not essential.

More importantly, you'll be:

• Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn
• Practical and comfortable in a hands-on working environment
• Accurate with good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and job sheets
• Comfortable working at pace and to deadlines
• Proactive, adaptable and a good team player
• Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work

What's on offer

• £22,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
• Overtime opportunities
• Full training on the machinery and processes
• Opportunity to learn new skills and develop within the business
• Permanent, full-time position
• Established and forward-thinking working environment

The salary range reflects the fact that we're genuinely open-minded about experience. You could be starting out and looking for an opportunity to learn, or already have relevant production, textile or machine-operating experience and be able to bring more to the role from day one.

If you're reliable, practical and looking for a long-term opportunity where you can learn, develop and become part of a busy production team, we'd love to hear from you

Whether you're a school leaver looking for your first opportunity or an experienced Machine Operative looking for your next move, we'd be equally happy to hear from you.
