We are recruiting a Management Accountant who will be responsible for taking ownership of financial reporting, and supporting key business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
• Producing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Analysing financial performance and identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Monitoring cash flow, expenditure and departmental costs
• Supporting budgeting and financial planning activities
• Providing financial analysis and reports to senior management
• Liaising with internal departments to review performance against budgets
• Ensuring financial information is accurate and deadlines are met
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
• Supporting external audits and other ad hoc finance duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
• AAT qualified, part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, month-end processes and financial reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using finance systems
• Good communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
