We have a fantastic opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Leatherhead on an ad-hoc, day-to-day supply basis, starting as soon as possible. We are looking for a creative, confident and enthusiastic educator who can deliver high-quality teaching, encourage independence and create a classroom environment where every pupil feels supported and motivated to succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for flexible supply work, with the potential for the role to develop into a full-time permanent position for the right candidate, subject to suitability and the school's requirements. The Role Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to Year 1 or Year 2 pupils. Develop children's confidence in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment. Monitor pupil attainment and provide targeted support where necessary. Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independent learning. Build strong working relationships with parents, colleagues and support staff. Requirements Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum. Be confident using assessment to inform teaching and learning. Have strong organisational skills and a proactive teaching approach.
