About the Role

We're supporting a major technology transformation programme seeking an experienced Edge Networking Engineer to help deliver a large-scale network separation and modernisation project.

This is a delivery-focused engineering role where you'll work across enterprise networking, SD-WAN, wireless and network access control technologies within a complex multi-site environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering network migration and deployment activities across multiple sites.
• Configuring and deploying Cisco switching infrastructure.
• Implementing Meraki SD-WAN, LAN and wireless solutions.
• Supporting network access control and 802.1X authentication initiatives.
• Working with automation and infrastructure teams to support modern deployment practices.
• Producing technical documentation and migration plans.
• Supporting complex network transformation activities across enterprise environments.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Cisco networking experience, particularly Catalyst switching.
• Experience with Meraki SD-WAN, switching and wireless technologies.
• Understanding of NAC technologies such as Cisco ISE.
• Experience delivering network migration or transformation programmes.
• Terraform and network automation exposure.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
