Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Tax Senior to join their expanding team in Newcastle.

The Role:

As a Tax Senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, providing both compliance and advisory services while building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the tax team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing tax returns
• Providing tax planning and advisory support
• Liaising with clients, colleagues and HMRC
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Identifying opportunities to add value to clients
• Keeping up to date with tax legislation and industry developments

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous tax experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of personal and/or corporate tax
• ATT or CTA qualification, or be studying towards a professional qualification (desirable)
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach and ambition to develop their career
