Export Seafreight Operator
Location: Tilbury (London Mega Terminal)
Working pattern: Permanent, full time
About the role
Uniserve provides supply chain solutions across global logistics. We are looking for an Export Seafreight Operator to join our team at Tilbury, managing FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating and managing FCL ocean export shipments from origin to final delivery
- Liaising with shipping lines, customs and clients to schedule and track shipments
- Preparing and reviewing export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists and Customs Entry forms
- Monitoring vessel schedules and shipment arrivals, and keeping clients updated on status and expected delivery dates
- Arranging inland transport via carrier haulage
- Handling billing and cost reconciliation for export shipments
- Keeping accurate shipment records and documentation in company systems
What you’ll bring
- Proven FCL ocean export experience
- Knowledge of FCL export and Bills of Lading
- Strong organisational skills
- Clear communication with colleagues and clients at all levels
