Area Manager – Alternative Provision

South & South East | £40,000–£50,000 | Term Time Only | Company Vehicle

New Chapter Tuition is recruiting exclusively for an Area Manager to join a leading Alternative Provision with significant growth plans.

This is a fully on-site, multi-site role, overseeing approximately eight sites across the South and South East.

The client is looking for someone with a unique combination of hands-on experience working within education alongside management experience gained in another sector, such as hospitality, leisure, retail or operations.

QTS is not required.

The Role

• Lead and support teams across approximately eight sites.
• Drive standards across education, safeguarding and operations.
• Develop and improve policies, procedures and systems.
• Coach and develop General Managers and Instructors.
• Conduct lesson observations and monitor educational delivery.
• Manage staff performance, attendance and operational priorities.
• Work with Local Authorities, schools, families and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across all locations.

About You

You'll have previous education experience and proven management experience from another sector.

You'll be a forward-thinking, proactive leader who can identify potential challenges, implement solutions and drive continuous improvement.

You'll need to be highly organised, confident managing your own diary, and able to adapt your schedule and priorities when required.

A full UK driving licence is essential, with a company vehicle provided.

Alternative Provision or SEND experience is advantageous but not essential.

This role is fully on-site and cannot offer sponsorship.
