Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Lutterworth (Office Based)
Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and well-established residential property team in Lutterworth. This role is ideal for someone with previous Residential Conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

You will provide essential support to fee earners, assisting with the smooth progression of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
• Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Opening and closing client files
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
• Requesting searches and managing incoming search results
• Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
• Maintaining case management systems and file records
• Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team

About You

• Previous experience within a Residential Conveyancing department is essential
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and client care abilities
• Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
