Account Executive / Account Manager – Creative Agency

Contract | 4 months initially | £30,000–£38,000 pro rata, depending on experience

We’re working with a creative agency looking for an Account Executive or Account Manager to join the team on an initial four-month contract, supporting a busy portfolio of FMCG accounts.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a creative agency environment who enjoys keeping projects organised, building client relationships and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

The role

You’ll support the delivery of a busy programme of international packaging and creative projects, coordinating assets, managing artwork workflows and keeping everything on track against tight deadlines.

Working closely with the Account Director and wider creative team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the delivery of packaging artwork projects across multiple international markets.
• Gathering and coordinating client assets, information and feedback.
• Managing artwork workflows and carrying out quality checks to ensure everything is accurate and ready for delivery.
• Keeping projects moving and deadlines on track, often within short turnaround times.
• Attending client and internal meetings alongside the Account Director.
• Building strong working relationships with clients and the wider agency team.
• Providing hands-on account support across a range of FMCG projects.

What we’re looking for

• Some previous account handling experience within a creative agency. This could be through a permanent role, internship or agency placement.
• Experience working on creative, design, branding, packaging or other agency-led projects would be beneficial.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects and competing deadlines without losing sight of the detail.
• Confident communication skills and a proactive, can-do approach.
• Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in getting the details right.

Experience with packaging artwork or production processes would be a bonus.

The details

• Contract: Four months initially, running from December to March/April, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
• Salary: £30,000–£38,000 depending on experience, pro rata for the contract period.
• Location: Office-based, five days a week.
