Commercial Account Handler

£30,000–£35,000 basic + OTE of £50,000

Hybrid

Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a busy and growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong commercial insurance background who enjoys building client relationships, delivering excellent customer service and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handling renewals, new business enquiries and policy adjustments.
• Liaising with clients and insurance providers.
• Processing claims and maintaining accurate client records.
• Marketing and inviting renewals.
• Cross-selling insurance products and identifying new business opportunities.
• Providing a high standard of customer service.
• Ensuring all activities comply with FCA guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance is essential.
• Previous insurance brokerage experience.
• Experience with a range of commercial insurance products, such as Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Motor Fleet, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Shop and Office policies.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Telephone sales experience.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.

Desirable Skills

• Acturis system experience.
• CII qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them.
