Are you an experienced Oncology Pharmacist looking for your next locum opportunity?

We are currently seeking a Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist to join a busy and supportive hospital pharmacy team in beautiful North Wales.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with strong oncology experience to make an immediate impact within a specialist clinical environment, while enjoying the opportunity to work in one of the most stunning parts of the UK.

The Role

As a Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing specialist clinical pharmacy input across oncology/haematology services
• Reviewing and clinically screening chemotherapy and systemic anti-cancer therapy prescriptions
• Supporting the safe and effective use of medicines
• Working closely with consultants, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Providing specialist medicines advice to healthcare professionals and patients
• Supporting governance, medicines optimisation and patient safety
• Contributing to the development and delivery of the oncology pharmacy service

? We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from pharmacists who have:

• GPhC registration
• Significant hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong oncology/haematology pharmacy experience
• Experience working at Band 8a level or equivalent
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• The ability to work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to delivering safe, patient-centred care
