Insurance Architect
Salary: Up to £75,000 + benefits

We are recruiting an experienced Insurance Architect to join the Insurance and Financial Services practice of a leading global consultancy.
You will help shape and deliver complex digital transformation programmes for major insurers, life and pensions providers, wealth managers and financial-services organisations.
The role
As an Insurance Architect, you will:
Develop current-state and target-state architectures, transition plans and technology roadmaps.
Produce solution designs, integration patterns, capability maps and architecture documentation.
Work across applications, data, cloud, integration, AI and cyber security.
Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Support cloud migrations, platform transformations and digital change across areas such as underwriting and claims.
Advise senior business and technology stakeholders on architecture and platform decisions.
Contribute to proofs of concept, thought leadership and internal capability development.
Collaborate with wider consulting, technology and delivery teams.
What we're looking for
At least five years' experience in technology-focused roles.
Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.
Knowledge of solution or technical architecture across applications, integration, data, cloud or security.
Understanding of data modelling, governance, migration, integration and visualisation.
Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
The ability to explain technical decisions clearly to both business and technical audiences.
Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
