The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services while managing client relationships and supporting the development of the wider audit team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of audit and assurance clients
• Taking ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Reviewing financial statements and audit documentation
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and maintaining strong relationships
• Identifying opportunities to broaden client service offerings
• Mentoring and developing members of the audit team
• Managing audit budgets, timescales and team resource planning
• Assisting senior leadership with strategic growth initiatives
• Ensuring audit work is completed in accordance with UK regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

• ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Proven experience within UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical audit and accounts knowledge
• Experience overseeing audit engagements and managing client portfolios
• Demonstrable people management and leadership capability
• Commercially minded with a client-focused approach
• Either an established Audit Manager or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready for promotion
