Location: Orton Southgate, Peterborough
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary (Approx. 4 Weeks)
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Working Pattern: Office-Based

Data Entry Clerk

We are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Clerk to join a busy office-based team in Orton Southgate, Peterborough on a temporary basis for approximately 4 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with previous Sage experience who is available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately input, update and maintain data within internal systems and databases.
• Process information using Sage software.
• Verify and cross-check data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Update customer, supplier and financial records as required.
• Assist with the processing of invoices, purchase orders and documentation.
• Retrieve, organise and file electronic and paper records.
• Liaise with internal departments to obtain and confirm information.
• Identify and correct any data discrepancies.
• Support the wider administration team with general office duties.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a data entry, administration or office support role.
• Essential: Experience using Sage software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
• Ability to work efficiently and manage workload within deadlines.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
