Building Services Design Engineer Location: Cambridge Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 Industry: MEP, HVAC An opportunity has opened for a Building Services Design Engineer to join an engineering company based in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have experience of designing and implementing mechanical and/or electrical systems within buildings and have a background designing solutions for the MEP or public health sector. The role is open to people with an electrical or mechanical biased background. Building Services Design Engineer Key Skills: * Experienced Design Engineer within the building services industry * Knowledge of UK Building regulations * Background using design software such as AutoCAD or Revit MEP * Knowledge of UK building standards * Any knowledge of renewable energy or smart building systems would be a bonus * Understanding of installations and designs behind them Building Services Design Engineer Responsibilities: * Developing design solutions for MEP related systems * Ensuring designs meet UK Building Regulations and are fully compliant * Designing installations in accordance with UK standards * Ensuring calculations are correct for the designs and reviewing specifications * Using and overseeing AutoCAD and Revit MEP models * Liaising with other teams and keeping in communication with clients about designs If you could be interested in finding out more about the role as a Building Services Design Engineer, please apply with your latest CV
