Mechanically Biased Project Manager – Data Centres Location: West Drayton / Slough / Hayes (3 Sites) Salary: £(Apply online only) DOE Job Type: Contract – Long Term Start Date: ASAP Sector: Data Centres We are looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Project Manager to join a major data centre programme covering three sites across West Drayton, Slough and Hayes. This is a long-term contract opportunity, supporting the Senior Project Manager and taking responsibility for driving mechanical packages, site delivery and programme performance through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Support the Senior Project Manager with overall mechanical project delivery. * Manage and drive mechanical packages through to completion. * Manage mechanical programmes, sequencing and progress. * Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams. * Monitor labour, productivity and programme performance. * Manage technical queries, RFIs and installation issues. * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality. * Attend and lead mechanical progress and coordination meetings. * Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover. * Produce progress updates and short-term look-ahead programmes. Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanically Biased Project Manager. * Must have previous data centre project experience. * Strong mechanical background delivering major mechanical packages. * Experience managing subcontractors and mechanical site teams. * Strong programme and project delivery experience. * Good understanding of mechanical installation, testing and commissioning. * SMSTS. * CSCS Management Card. * Relevant mechanical qualification.
