Credit Controller | Temporary | Fully Remote | Immediate Start

HarKaye Core Talent is recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a temporary assignment with an immediate start.

This fully remote opportunity would suit someone confident managing day-to-day legal accounts who can join and make an immediate contribution.

Responsibilities include:

- Work collaboratively with the relevant consultant lawyer before and during recovery activity.

- Understand relevant commercial and client relationship considerations before progressing collection activity.

- Apply agreed chaser templates and schedules, recording consultant lawyer instructions and referring requests outside established processes to the Senior Credit Controller.

- Follow agreed escalation procedures, keeping communications measured, factual and proportionate.

- Liaise with the consultant lawyer and Cashiering team to understand and resolve questions relating to matter balances, unpaid disbursements and other amounts owed.

You’ll need:

- Proven credit control experience, including direct client contact and responsibility for an allocated aged debtor portfolio.

- A sound understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules.

- Experience adapting collection communications to stakeholder instructions and individual account circumstances.

- Availability to start immediately.
