We are working with a legal firm in Kilmarnock that is currently seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join their team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities including handling complex financial matters, divorce, child law, adoption, and more. The firm offers a supportive environment ideal for both junior and senior solicitors looking for career progression.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a mixed caseload involving both private and public family law.
• Handle complex legal matters related to divorce, child law, adoption, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
• Attend court proceedings both locally and online.
• Work with a mix of caseload management systems and paper-based files.
• Collaborate with a supportive and close-knit team, contributing to a laid-back work culture without strict targets or time recording.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Scots Law Qualified
• Demonstrable background in family law.
• Ability to handle a diverse range of family law cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively managing client relationships.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
