Preconstruction Engineer - Civil Engineering SSA are currently recruiting for a respected regional civil engineering contractor who are looking to bring in a Preconstruction Engineer to their team working across their portfolio of civil infrastructure, highways, rail and build projects across the Yorkshire and North-East regions. The role will involve: * Supporting the development and delviery of multi-disciplined civil engineering projects * Working with designers, planners, construction and commercial teams to ensure project buildability * Look after technical submissions, drawings, and documentation to ensure full compliance and quality assurance * Making sure all design and pre-construction documentation is in place, checked, and approved prior to delivery * Stakeholder management, close liasion with clients, local authorities, and third-party asset owners * Identification of risks and constraints, and providing practical solutions to mitigate potential upcoming issues * Support programme development with realistic sequencing and construction methodologies They will be able to provide a platform to use your engineering experience in a different setting, with full support, guidance and training to help you achieve your aims.
