Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds

I’m currently working with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm seeking a Clinical Negligence Associate, ideally with experience in birth injury and obstetric claims, to support the continued growth of its specialist team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate looking to handle high-quality, complex work while working closely with the Head of Department and playing a meaningful role in the development of a growing practice.

The firm has a strong national reputation in Clinical Negligence and Healthcare Law, combining technical excellence with a modern, collaborative culture. The team prioritises quality over volume, offering a supportive environment, genuine work-life balance and flexible working.

You’ll manage your own caseload of complex and high-value matters, including:

• Birth injury and cerebral palsy claims
• Obstetric negligence
• Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis
• Surgical errors
• Failures in medical treatment and patient care

You’ll work closely with the Head of Department, with opportunities to contribute to business development, team strategy and the wider growth of the practice.

Experience

• Experience handling birth injury and obstetric claims
• Strong experience with complex, high-value matters
• Excellent technical, client care and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail
• An interest in contributing to the growth of a team
