What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Keeping students engaged and motivated throughout lessons.
• Ensuring pupils complete the work set by the school.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Providing feedback to schools where required.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

Strong behaviour management skills

Confident, adaptable and professional approach

Excellent communication and classroom management abilities

Travel Requirements

Schools can request cover on any day and often at short notice, so flexibility is important.

Ideally, you'll have access to your own vehicle and be willing to travel to schools across the local area. We also welcome applicants who are happy to travel by public transport for up to one hour to reach school placements.
