Interim Management Accountant

Dalgety Bay | Full-Time | Hybrid | Initial 3-Month Contract | £50,000 per Annum Equivalent

We're recruiting an Interim Management Accountant for an established international manufacturing business in Fife.

The finance team is managing year-end, an ERP implementation and changes across its UK and US operations. They need an experienced pair of hands to keep the day-to-day accounting running smoothly.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting.
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes.
• Reviewing manufacturing costs, stock valuations and variances.
• Supporting UK and US reporting.
• Helping with wider finance activities and occasional ERP testing.

The priority is getting the management accounts done accurately and on time, rather than redesigning processes.

What are they looking for?

Manufacturing experience is important, particularly an understanding of product costing, stock and how costs flow through the accounts.

You'll also bring:

• Solid, hands-on management accounting experience.
• Confidence working independently and managing month-end.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience.
• A practical, flexible approach and good communication skills.

International accounting or consolidation experience would be useful but isn't essential. Qualified or qualified by experience, they're more interested in what you can do than the letters after your name.

• Contract: Initial three months, with possible extension.
• Salary: £50,000 per annum equivalent (3-month FTC).
• Hours: 37.5 per week, with an early Friday finish.
• Hybrid: Minimum three days in the office.
• Start: Immediately or at short notice.
