Right Now Group are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators based in Colnbrook / Slough for an exciting Temp to Perm opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced forklift operators looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment, managing pallet movements and supporting the smooth flow of goods through warehouse and dispatch operations.

Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative

• Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance Forklifts in line with company policies and health & safety standards
• Load, unload, move and stack materials, goods and products
• Carry out daily visual safety checks of forklift equipment and report any faults
• Accurately complete warehouse documentation and support inventory control procedures
• Assist with picking, packing, labelling and general warehouse duties when required
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times
• Work effectively as part of a wider warehouse and logistics team

4 on 4 off nights

Hours:

19:00 - 07:00

Pay:

£14.00 per hour

Key Skills of a Forklift Operative:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - RTITB / ITSSAR accredited or equivalent
• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexible approach to supporting general warehouse duties when required
