Senior Residential Support Worker - Children's Residential

Location: Birmingham - Yardley Wood, Kings Heath, Moseley & Oldbury
Salary: £26,880 up to £34 000 + £70 per sleep-in
Hours: 160 hours per month | Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a growing provider of children's residential care across Birmingham.

You will support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, helping to provide a safe, stable and nurturing home environment.

The Role

• Support children and young people with their daily needs
• Build positive and trusting relationships
• Support emotional wellbeing, independence and life skills
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans
• Maintain safeguarding and child protection standards
• Complete daily records and reports
• Support with activities, education and appointments
• Work closely with colleagues and external professionals

What We Need

• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care, Residential Childcare, Children & Young People or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year's children's residential experience
• Good understanding of safeguarding
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential
• Able to work weekends, sleep-ins and flexible shifts
• Willing to support homes across Birmingham when required
