The opportunity
A values-led not-for-profit is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to lead the delivery of its People Services.
You'll provide expert, risk-aware HR leadership and help shift the function from reactive to proactive and insight-led.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a consistent, high-quality HR service across a dispersed workforce
• Act as senior escalation point for complex and high-risk ER cases, including safeguarding-related concerns
• Provide legally compliant, trauma-informed advice, and coach managers to resolve issues early
• Use workforce data to shape proactive interventions and advise senior leaders
• Support the People Strategy, organisational change and culture initiatives
• Keep policies and case management compliant and audit-ready
• Lead and develop a small People Services team#

About you

• Strong generalist HR experience at HRBP, senior Advisor or HR Manager level, ideally in the charity or not-for-profit sector
• Confident in handling sensitive ER casework, with an understanding of safeguarding in a workforce context
• Credible with senior stakeholders, and experienced in coaching managers
• CIPD qualified (Level 7 desirable) or equivalent
