Packaging Solutions Line Leader

Pay Rate: £28,765.30 Grade: RCS O Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Working Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on rotation Location: Manton Wood 1 - Worksop

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Packaging Solutions Line Leader to join our operation. This is a dual-role position where you will be responsible for leading a team on the packaging line while also actively working alongside colleagues to ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.

As a key member of the operation, you will set the standard for performance, safety, and teamwork, providing support and guidance to operatives while maintaining productivity on the line.

A typical day may involve:

• Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Co-Pack Operatives
• Working on the production line as required to meet operational demands
• Ensuring daily production and customer targets are achieved
• Monitoring workflow and allocating resources effectively throughout the shift
• Conducting team briefings and providing clear communication on operational priorities
• Ensuring products are packed accurately and in line with customer specifications
• Identifying and escalating operational issues to management when necessary

This role would suit people who:

• Previous experience in a team leader, line leader, supervisor, or senior operative role within a warehouse, manufacturing, packaging or logistics environment
• A hands-on approach with the willingness to work on the line alongside the team
• Ability to motivate and engage a team to achieve performance targets
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic IT skills would be advantageous
