Position: One-to-One Outreach and Learning Support Tutor
Location: Lewisham
Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Contract: Flexible, ongoing placements

Help Students Re-engage With Learning

Remedy Tutors is looking for adaptable tutors to work with students who may struggle to access mainstream education.

You may support young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, communication difficulties or other barriers to learning. Some students may have experienced disrupted education and need consistent, individualised support to rebuild their confidence.

The Role

• Deliver tuition in Maths and English.

• Plan lessons around individual learning needs.

• Adapt teaching methods to support engagement.

• Break down tasks and reinforce key concepts.

• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.

• Monitor progress towards learning goals.

What We're Looking For

• Confident teaching both Maths and English.

• SEN/SEND or SEMH experience is desirable.

• Patient, calm and reliable approach.

• Ability to motivate students and adapt to their needs.
