Contracts Manager – Highways & Civil Engineering Bristol £65,000 & £70,000 & Exceptional benefits package Sphere Solutions are working with a leading Highways & Civil Engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to join their South West Civils team. This is a key leadership role overseeing the successful delivery and growth of highways and civil engineering projects from Exeter to Gloucester, with projects typically valued between £1 million and £15 million. Key Responsibilities * Manage up to three projects simultaneously * Ensuring programme, quality, safety and commercial targets are achieved * Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and site teams * Support the business in securing new work through frameworks and competitive tenders * Work with Pre-Construction and Planning teams * Build strong relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, subcontractors and supply chain partners. * Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required. About You * Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Contracts Manager-level role. * Proven background in highways, civil engineering or infrastructure. * Experience managing multiple projects and operational delivery teams. * Experience working with framework agreements and competitive tenders. * Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. * SMSTS qualified * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West from Exeter to Gloucester * Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable. * Knowledge of NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models is preferred Package * Salary £65,000-£70,000 depending on experience * Company car or Car allowance * Exceptional bonus scheme * Other company benefits To Apply: For a confidential discussion, contact Jo or Abbie on (phone number removed) Our Commitment to Inclusion As a recruitment agency, we are committed to promoting inclusive opportunities on behalf of our clients.
