Accounts Assistant

• Location: Haymarket, Edinburgh
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Reed Accountancy are working with a fast growing business who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This role would see the successful candidate supporting the transactional accounts function.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounts payable and receivable
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Managing invoice registration
• Matching payments across platforms
• Assisting with credit control duties
• Managing internal approval workflows
• Overseeing statements and deductions
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end close
• Maintaining internal controls

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar accounting role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in financial systems
