Personal Lines Sales Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Lines Sales Advisor to join an established insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous insurance experience, ideally gained within an insurance brokerage, who has a passion for sales, strong customer service skills and the drive to maximise earning potential.

The successful candidate will handle new business enquiries and existing customer renewals, providing tailored insurance solutions while delivering a high standard of customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling inbound calls from new and existing customers regarding motor and home insurance.
• Providing quotations and identifying suitable insurance solutions based on customer needs.
• Managing renewal enquiries and maximising customer retention.
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales through appropriate additional products and optional extras.
• Building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent customer service.
• Resolving customer queries efficiently and professionally.
• Liaising with insurance providers when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all activities comply with FCA regulations and data protection requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

• A minimum of 12 months' insurance experience, ideally within an insurance brokerage.
• Experience in personal lines insurance, particularly motor and home insurance.
• A friendly, confident and sales-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong administration, organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A self-motivated, ambitious and target-driven attitude.

Desirable: CII qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them, and experience using the CDL insurance system.

The role operates on a three-week rota, with one week working in the office alongside the team, followed by two weeks working from home.

Due to the office-based element of the role, applicants must live within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm.
• Alternate Saturdays: 9:00am – 4:30pm (compulsory).
